Eva­cuable ni­tri­ding shaft fur­naces SON

Uniform performance up to 600 °C

Like our VAN type evacuable nitriding tempering furnaces, our SON type nitriding shaft furnaces are available for all procedures and processes at the same performance level. Optimised gas injection in the retort produces homogeneous gas atmospheres, even in very deep furnace systems.

Unlike with chamber furnace systems, the usable dimensions of shaft furnace systems are given in diameter and depth, and can be considerably more varied.

When it comes to larger diameters and furnace depths of more than 10 m, we perform individual planning and production.

Ce­men­ting shaft fur­naces SOC

Especially economical up to 1,050 °C

Shaft furnaces and vertical retort furnaces are developed in many sizes and specific forms and are available with a wide range of accessories. With an unbeatable value for money, the systems are frequently used in the heat treatment of large gear parts.

All protective gassing variants, such as direct gassing, nitrogen/methanol or endogas, are monitored and controlled in shaft furnaces by means of atmosphere sensors in various designs and further measuring systems.

Among them are oxygen, hydrogen and lambda sensors as well as gas analysers. Control via mass flow controllers ensures uniform gassing, while special gassing techniques ensure that all gases are spread homogeneously across the entire treatment space.

As an addition to our cementing shaft furnaces

We offer protective gas tempering shaft furnaces to complete your production chain. They can be used for various tempering temperatures for stress relieving, tempering and annealing hardened parts.
